Giant Killers
The FA cup is the cup for the smaller team, many Sunday league and part time players have dreamt at playing at Wembley or just to compete against a team of over paid professionals, for some it is has become a reality and sometimes they have got further than they ever could have imagined. These David and Goliath matches have become known as Giant Killers and we shall take a look at some of the best of those.
Sutton United vs. Coventry City

The Coventry City team of 1989 were still on a high from their teams first ever win of the FA Cup in 1987 and the Division One team (before the Premiership!) must have thought this fixture against Conference team Sutton United would have been a walkover.
However this was not be as in the 42nd minute of the first half Sutton went 1-0 up from a header from Tony Rains after the restart Coventry managed to equalise with a goal from Welsh international David Phillips. However minutes later from another set piece Sutton again took the lead from a goal by Matthew Hanlan.

1991 is a year that most West Brom fans would probably like to erase from the history not only was it one of their most disastrous years in football. They saw relegation to the third division (now League One) after finishing the campaign in 23rd position but what will be remember more was them crashing out of the FA Cup in the third round to non league Woking.
Most fans had not even anticipated Woking winning they were soon 1-0 down but they opened up the scoring with a goal from Tim Buzaglo soon Woking were 4 -1 thanks to a hatrick of goals form Buzaglo, West Brom managed to get one back but their fate was sealed and Woking progressed to the next round.
