FA Cup First Round Proper

This section of the FA Cup generally takes place towards the end of October and beginning of November. If your team is lucky enough to get past this section they will receive a winners fee of £16,000. For many this could be a season saving lifeline.

The teams that are eligible for this round of the contest are all those who have won their ties in the previous round the Fourth Round Qualifier.  Also joining them will be all of the forty eight teams from the Football League One and League Two who have due to their status been exempt from the earlier rounds.
