Giant Killing Opportunities

This round provides the perfect ingredients for a number of huge upsets and giant killings. At this stage there may be a handful of non-league teams who have managed to fight their way through the competition and they will be hoping to draw one of the Premier League giants.

In this season's Third Round Blue Square Bet Premier side Tamworth have been drawn away to Premier League side Everton where they'll be gunning for what would be a major upset. Similarly Wrexham have been rewarded with a tie away to Championship club Brighton. Elsewhere, League Two side Bristol Rovers will host Aston Villa, while Cheltenham travel to Tottenham and Swindon welcome Wigan.

Premier League scalps that were claimed last year included Blackpool who were defeated by League One side Southampton, West Brom were beaten by Championship side Reading and Sunderland were knocked out by League One side Notts County. Wolves have also been held to a replay following the 2-2 draw against Doncaster. Newcastle were also treated to a 3-1 thrashing at the hands of League Two side Stevenage.
