FA Cup Semi Finals 2007/2008

The 07/08 semi finals were played over the weekend of the 5th April and were played without the chance of a replay, so any draw after extra time would be decided by a penalty shoot-out.  For the first time since 1908 the semi final only featured one team from the top leauge.

FA Cup Semi Finals 2008/2009

The FA Cup semi final draw was made by Bob Wilson and Joe Royle on March 8th 2009. The semin finals were played at Wembley Stadium over the weekend of the 18th April 2009. This would be the first time in the tournamnets history that if the match ended in a draw a replay would not occur and the match would be decided by extra time and then penalties.
